It’s March, you’re just about getting ready to nosh down on Easter eggs but after that, you swear you’ll get on the health and fitness trail, burning off the the choccie calories and the rest. So check out these pieces which may help you get started and stay consistent on your new fitness regime.
Teminice Fitness Tracker – You might be ditching Netflix for a while during exercise but you don’t have to give up tech. This fitness tracker monitors your heart rate, steps and calories from activities and sleep.
Very robust so ideal for gym wear and nice and affordable too. Give it a whirl!
H&S Abs Exercise Roller – Looks a bit weird but this little piece of equipment will really work your abs, this one comes with a nice thick mat too, ideal to save your knees when you’re first beginning to ab roll and might be carrying a little extra poundage.
Gym Ball with Stability Base – One of the best pieces of equipment to get when starting fitness is a gym ball. It can be used for so many fun exercises and also to help improve your balance and posture.
It’s also a handy seat for when you’re bloody knackered! This set comes with some extras including resistance bands and stability ring to stop the ball rolling.
Mango Jug Water Bottle – This is a 2 litre water bottle with straw and time markings. You may think that’s a ton of water but once you’re working out you’ll quickly glug that down and more.
I like this bottle because it’s robust, BPA free and comes in a ton of colours!
Usingfit Ankle and Wrist Weights – When you’re starting out you’re never going to want to lift the heavy dumbbells but do want to build strength.
You can wear them as you go about your normal activities or while doing fitness to boost those muscles. Comfy material, strong straps a good way to get started lifting some extra weights.
HCFGS Foam Rollers:
If you’ve got tight muscles post exercise foam rollers can ease them up. They’re not the soft kind of foam you love but they do make it easy to roll over a trigger point, deeply massage your muscle and relieve pain.
There’s even some exercises you can do with them, to improve your balance and muscle strength!
Kettlebell Set – A good all around exercise tool is a kettlebell, used by the Russians and Turks originally (and you know they’re big guys) but now a familiar piece of kit in most gyms.
You swing the kettlebell in various ways and it helps you target both large and small muscles. Because you’re always holding on (we hope!) your grip also improves. Start light and work up!
Adult Skipping Rope – You may not have skipped since you were a kid but it is without doubt one of the best ways to improve cardio fitness.
A few times around with the rope and you’ll be back into the old habits. Excellent for those who want to get into boxing or dancing and need to become fast on their feet.
Weights Set – Well it wouldn’t be a fitness piece without an actual weight set. These adjustable weights are ideal for a new starter to weight lifting. Cheap but durable equipment for the home gym and should keep you going for quite some time until bigger weights are required.
Walking Treadmill – Ideal for those who are WFH. This is not for running but will let you go a steady pace for many miles whilst at home.
Walking is the best way to get started losing weight, so whether you’re working up to 10k steps a day or going far beyond, this gadget could help!
We hope this helps you start that journey getting off the sofa and binging Netflix on the treadmill instead. Best of luck with it, but do enjoy those Easter eggs first! Keep checking back for more fitness goods and practical help equipment soon.
